Today is Monday. I was going to visiting Lower Manhattan.I took train R to station Brooklyn Bridge - City Hall. And walk to United States Court Building, and had my lunch in the park in front of City Hall. There was a funny thing happened when I was eating my lunch. A group of kid just come in front of me and asked me to take a picture on them. I didn’t hesitate and take them a picture. After that, they gave me a quarter and told me, we appreciated it. Ha, although it is just a small thing, but it made me feel happy because of these kids’ funny action.

By the way, there is a cheap way to stay in New York that I found it in these days. You can go to Chinatown after 7pm, the bread there will become 3 for $1 after 7pm. But you have to be there before they close about 8pm. And you can just buy these cheap breads as your breakfast and lunch, and then you will save a lot of money on your food. Since there are many parks in New York, it is very easy for us to find some place to enjoy the food.

After my lunch, I walked to St. Paul’s Chapel, which is the oldest chapel in New York. And the place of World Trade Center is just behind St. Paul’s Chapel. You can see how huge the scar that terrorists leave in New York is. Then you can walk along Broadway and turn left on Liberty Street, you will see the Federal Reserve Bank. After that, I went to Wall Street and take a look on New York Stock Exchange, also visited the Federal Hall National Memorial. Although this Memorial is for the inauguration of Washington, but you can also see something about history, economics or others about New York. Not bad to visit if you are interested on something about New York. Then I just walk through the south part of Manhattan and visit Battle Park and South Street Seaport.

After South Manhattan, I went to Soho area, there is a place with a lot of different kind of stuff for you to shopping. If you like to do shopping, I recommend you to go either this area or Fifth Ave., these two place are both paradise of shopping. Then I went to NYU and Washington Square Park. For me, NYU is nothing but Washington Square Park is a good park and there is a big triumphant gate, lots people enjoy their leisure time in this park.

After my dinner in Chinatown, I went back to hostel and met a kind Korean girl, Lucy. We both love to travel, and also love to try something different. She told me she wanna go to Jazz Bar tonight, since I’ve never been to any bar in America, I decided to go with her. We had a really good memory in the bar called Village Vanguard, which is very famous among Jazz Bar in New York. Although it is a little bit expensive for me in $30 per person. But I still thought it worth because this is my first time to visit Jazz Bar in New York.
